First, the bacon is dry-cured and smoked over beechwood chippings in the farm smokehouse. Then sliced into tasty bite-sized pieces.
We then coat each piece in amber-coloured, Grade A Canadian maple syrup infused with chipotle powder (smoked for 72 hours), and bake in the oven until it’s sticky-sweet. Irresistible. And now with a little kick to it.
Our bacon is high in protein and gluten-free.
How to serve
Squeeze the pack to break up the pieces, then eat any way you like. No need to cook, but 20 seconds in the microwave will make it extra sticky.
How to store/shelf life
Store in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight. Once the pack is opened, eat within 2 days. Suitable for freezing. 24 weeks shelf life from manufacture, details on pack, usually dispatched with minimum 12 weeks shelf life remaining.
