Our Candied Smoked Salmon is inspired by Native American and Canadian First Nation methods of preserving salmon.
The salmon is cut into strips, dry-cured in salt and sugar, then brined in maple syrup, honey, Demerara sugar and salt. With the addition of premium Irish Whiskey to the brine, we have created a subtle new flavour that really lifts the salmon to the next level.
Finally, we air dry it and smoke it over old whisky barrels creating a sweet/savoury bite-sized chewy treat.

How to serve

Massage the pack to separate the pieces. Then serve in your favourite way.

How to store/shelf life

Store in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight. Once the pack is opened, eat within 2 days. Suitable for freezing. 24 weeks shelf life from manufacture, details on pack, usually dispatched with minimum 12 weeks shelf life remaining.
